SX-FMTNB Series

The SensorsX SX-FMTNB series is a two-component force/torque sensor designed to measure torque and axial tension/compression simultaneously. It features aluminum-alloy construction. The series supports torque capacities up to 20 N·m and selectable axial force capacities up to 1,000 N. It offers mV/V output, with optional analog and RS-485 configurations. Custom measurement ranges are available upon request.

  • Capacity: Torque 0–20 N·m; axial force 0–1,000 N.
  • Non-Linearity: 0.1% FS.
  • Repeatability / Hysteresis: 0.05% FS each; creep 0.05% FS over 30 min.
  • Output: >0.6 mV/V; optional 4–20 mA, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, ±5 V, ±10 V or RS-485.
  • Excitation: Recommended 5–10 V; maximum 15 V for bridge excitation.
  • Measurement Modes: Clockwise, counter-clockwise or bidirectional torque; tension, compression or both.
  • Overload: Safe 120% FS; ultimate 150% FS.
  • Temperature: Operating −20 to +60 °C; compensated −10 to +40 °C.
  • Construction: Aluminum alloy; IP65; integral cable with flying leads.
